I started working on a tool to capture and organize thin layer chromatography data in the lab. The tool is called (Andre's library tool for TLC) and can be accessed at andrezenz.com/alt-tlc. This will be a learning-by-doing project for me, so use at your own risk. I will try to simultaneously work on a documentation for the tool and changenotes. The reason why I want to have such a tool is that I recently started using the Chemotion electronic lab journal which tries to digitize your lab notebook and make the collected data as accessible as possible. I recommend checking it out, since this is an open-source, publicly funded project and actively developed. Unfortunately upload of TLC data is still rather complicated. I really wish to have a solution where I can take an image with my phone, which is then added to a library that is digitally searchable.
